This view over Edinburgh towards the Castle from Salisbury Crags is painted in acrylics using the wide range of application that this medium allows, from wash to scraped pallet knife work. This slightly abstracted work seeks to capture the vibrancy of Edinburgh. It is the first in a series of painted pieces inspired by Edinburgh.
