Encroachment
This is a computer generated image (see artist profile for fuller explanation).
The way that these lines were drawn was lost as the screen was filled to I was inspired to start layering up images so that a half drawn image could be seen. I developed the equation that controlled the movement of waves to make waves of colour and tone to underlie the fragmented lines of the first drawing. This approach was developed in the image “The March”.
